Whenever a couple passes into view where there is significant height difference (i.e. guy 6'3, girl 5'2) it is not uncommon AT ALL for one of us to say something about "leaving the tall ones for us".Sayingthat you need to be 6 feet to be visible to women is dumb and 5'8 isn't manlet or short, just shortish or slightly below average.
